World Health Organization (WHO) |
|
IIHMR has been recognized as the WHO Collaborating Centre for District
Health System Based on Primary Health Care for its excellence in health management
research, training and educational programs. As a collaborating centre, the Institute works in the
areas of organization and management of health system based on primary health care with particular
emphasis on district health system in urban and rural areas and
quality assurance in health care. |

The Institute operates as a resource centre, organizes inter-country training programs,
collaborates with WHO in monitoring and evaluation and provides expertise
in health system management and research.

South-East Asia Public Health Education Institution Network (SEAPHEIN) |
|
The network has been created by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office to promote collaboration
and sharing of information and knowledge among the member countries in the Region in pursuit
to strengthen public health education and training. IIHMR
is an active partner
of the network and has signed agreements for collaboration with various institutions in the Region to promote capacity building in public health
and management, joint collaborative research and sharing of information and knowledge
in public health management. |

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA |
|
The Johns
Hopkins University, School of Hygiene and Public Health, Baltimore, USA has signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIHMR to collaborate in joint research,
training and educational activities. The MoU seeks to facilitate
academic exchange between the faculty and research staff, students' exchange in graduate and postgraduate academic programs and collaborative work on research and policy. |

International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), Paris, France |
|
|
|
IIHMR has collaborative arrangements with The Union to conduct an International
Management Development Program on Management, Finance and Logistics and TB Control
to build and develop leadership and managerial competencies among the program managers
from the countries with the highest burden of tuberculosis. This international course
has received accreditation from the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology
(EBAP), Switzerland. The course has been accredited by EBAP for 60 European CME
credits. |

Partners in Population and Development (PPD) |
|
PPD is an inter-governmental organization formed at the 1994 ICPD in Cairo. It has
a unique mandate cemented in the ICPD Program of Action and the ICPD+5 documents
adopted in 1999 by the United Nations General Assembly. PPD endeavors to encourage
South-South cooperation to help developing countries achieve the ICPD goals and
the MDGs. It has been active in developing national capacity by organizing management
and leadership training programs through its partner institutions. IIHMR has been
identified as a Centre of Excellence by PPD and works closely with other partner
institutions towards achieving the goals of the ICPD and MDGs. |

Gulf Medical University |
|
|
|
IIHMR has entered into a collaborative agreement with Gulf Medical University (GMU)
to launch various academic programs and short term courses in Healthcare Management
and other related areas in U.A.E. GMU is recognized as a standard bearer of excellence
in medical education in the Gulf Region delivering high quality medical education
and training to professionals from 54 nationalities. GMU and IIHMR are shortly going
to establish an Executive Program in Healthcare Management. This 10 months executive
programme in U.A.E will be launched tentatively from January 2012. Further, IIHMR
and GMU will jointly develop various education courses in
Hospital Administration
and Healthcare Management that may be used throughout the United Arab Emirates and
Middle East regions. |

The Institute has signed a MoU with Mahidol University, Thailand and Padjadjaran
University, Gadjah Mada University and Hasanuddin University, Indonesia to jointly
develop academic and educational activities, such as student exchange programs,
faculty exchange programs, technical cooperation and collaboration in research projects. |

Afghanistan Centre for Training and Development (ACTD) |
|
|
|
ACTD is a registered non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization
working for development and transformation of the civil society in Afghanistan.
ACTD was established in 2007 by a group of Afghan professionals to offer research,
training and consultancy services in order to develop practically applicable knowledge.
IIHMR has signed a MoU with ACTD to strengthen research, training, and consultancy
services in health management areas in Afghanistan. |

IbnSina, Kabul, Afghanistan |
|
The Institute has signed a MoU with IbnSina, Kabul to establish
and strengthen the capacity of the NGOs and the employees of the Government of Afghanistan. It provides
training in important health management areas, such as health policy planning and
management, health care financing, policy for HIV/AIDS, project planning, implementation
monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance and hospital management.

SUPBIOTECH, Paris, France |
IIHMR has collaborative arrangements with SUPBIOTECH, Paris, for the development
of academic and cultural exchanges in the areas of education and research. The areas
of cooperation include the exchange of faculty and students and development of special
programs and internships. The collaboration calls for research and degree programs
and conferences and workshops to be offered and conducted jointly.

The Institute has been made partner NGO by the UNICEF India Country Program to undertake
Rapid assessment of MCHN Services and Capacity Building in UNICEF focus districts
(Baran, Barmer, Dungarpur, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk) in Rajasthan. |
