AIMS
The GHRC aims at contributing towards making population and reproductive health programmes more gender-sensitive, effective, equitable and sustainable.

Objective
The main objectives of the centre are to :
- Mainstream gender
- Build capacity of health managers and service providers to carry out gender-sensitive/
community responsive public health programmes
- Participate actively in policy formulation, dissemination
and advocacy efforts
- Provide technical support to health programmes for gender mainstreaming
- Conduct research studies in gender-sensitive manner
- Conduct research studies focusing on gender and health issues, and
- Document the perspectives and experience of gender on health
issues
